Core Responsibilities

  • Build and grow Datastrato’s developer community across open source, events, and online channels
  • Partner with engineering to produce high-quality technical content (blogs, deep dives, demos)
  • Represent Datastrato at technical events, conferences, and customer engagements
  • Design and run impactful technical events for data and AI practitioners
  • Act as the voice of developers back into product and engineering

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or technical roles with heavy external exposure
  • Demonstrated success growing developer communities and organizing technical events
  • Meaningful contributions to a prominent data or AI project (e.g. Spark, Flink, Kafka)
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to collaborate with engineers
  • Credibility with experienced data/AI infrastructure engineers

Strong Plus

  • Background as a software, data, platform or AI engineer
  • Experience at an early-stage data or AI infrastructure, or developer-first startup
