Core Responsibilities

  • Own Datastrato’s GTM narrative and messaging (OSS → commercial); rapidly iterate based on customer, sales, and pipeline signals
  • Analyze market trends, deep-dive into competitors and translate founder and product thinking into compelling GTM assets
  • Author high-quality and opinionated content and act as the bar-raiser for all external-facing content
  • Partner with founders/leadership, DevRel, Solutions and the rest of the team to tighten the feedback loop between product, OSS adoption, and sales
  • Enable and amplify founder-led sales motions

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in technical product marketing, technical product management, or solutions architecture at B2B infrastructure startups, especially early-stage ones in data or AI infrastructure space
  • Exceptional writer with strong taste - able to independently and quickly produce sharp and persuasive long-form and short-form content that differentiates complex data and AI infrastructure products
  • Strong technical fluency and business acumen - able to influence technology executives and hold your own in technical discussions with engineers
  • High agency and strong judgment - thrive in a “team of one”, in fluid, low-process environments, and able to effectively lead a small team when needed
  • Experience in supporting founder-led sales and early GTM motions

Strong Plus

  • Technical background in AI, data engineering, data infrastructure, and OSS
  • Experience at category-defining startups (e.g. Confluent, Databricks, HashiCorp)
