Drop table

/metalakes/:metalake/catalogs/:catalog/schemas/:schema/tables/:table

Drops a table and reports whether a table was dropped. When purge is true, the table's data is also removed completely, skipping the trash.

Query Parameters

purge boolean

When true, removes the table's data completely along with its metadata, skipping the trash. Catalogs that do not support purging, and external tables, reject the request.

Whether the object was dropped. dropped is false when the object did not exist or, for statistics, when none of the named statistics existed.
